My name is Christian Mai, and I’m a photographer from California. Your needs are my priority.
My journey with photography started in my sophomore year of high school when I took an introductory photography class. I was fortunate enough to have been gifted my first camera, and I was as excited as anyone else starting a new hobby. However, I didn’t learn anything from that class, and my interest diminished quickly. I didn’t even think about photography for the next few years. But similar to everyone else, a day came when I felt like my life had no direction. I had only a few hobbies, none of which gave me the feeling that I thought a hobby should give. I decided to pick up photography again, but I wanted to learn on my own time and to not be restricted to formal education. Whenever I had free time, I would dedicate it to either learning about photography through articles or Youtube videos or practicing my newly learned techniques in the world. I have upgraded my equipment since then, and to this day I continuously expand my knowledge in order to improve my skill and efficiency. I firmly believe that there is always more to learn.
